5. Apple services

Day Grid uses Apple services that may include:

  • App Store
  • StoreKit
  • iCloud
  • CloudKit
  • WidgetKit
  • Local notifications

All payments are processed by Apple.

We do not directly receive or store your complete credit-card or payment-card information.

Apple may process purchase, account, device, and transaction information according to Apple’s own privacy policy and terms.

6. Notifications

Day Grid may request permission to send local notifications for event reminders.

Notification permission is optional.

You can disable or change notification permissions at any time through iOS Settings.

Day Grid does not require a remote notification server to deliver ordinary event reminders. Reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device.

7. Widgets

Day Grid widgets may display event information stored by the app.

Widget data may be shared between the main app and the widget extension using Apple-provided shared storage.

Day Grid may detect which Day Grid widget types are currently configured in order to understand widget usage and improve the app.

This widget analytics information does not include:

  • Event titles
  • Event dates

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your personal information with third-party advertisers.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or where reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights, or the security of the Service.

11. Data retention

Event information stored locally remains on your device until you delete the event, delete the app, or erase the device data.

Information synchronized through iCloud may remain in your iCloud account according to your Apple account settings and Apple’s retention practices.

Firebase, RevenueCat, and Apple may retain technical, analytics, crash, performance, and purchase information according to their own retention policies and legal obligations.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children for advertising or account creation.
